Rhodes HARDIKER , son of James Thomas HARDIKER (1858-1894) and Ellen Rosamia TYRELL (1860?- ), was born on 6 October 1885 in Rochdale, Lancashire, England. 1 In 1891 he was resident in Rochdale, 9 Back Crawford St. In 1901 he was resident in Rochdale, 12 Linsey St. In 1901 he was a Doffer(?) in Cotton Mill. He married Florence BIRCH in 1905 in Rochdale, Registry Office. 2 In 1911 he was resident in Rochdale, 1 Sykes Court. In 1911 he was a General Labourer. In 1914 he was resident in Rochdale, 17 Clement Street. On 14 September 1914 he was a Soldier, Private, Lancashire Fusileers. In 1920 he was a Velvet Finisher. In 1920 he was resident in Rochdale, 32 South Lane. On 12 April 1921 he was a Soldier: Private: 90 days Emergency Service. In 1921 he was Roman Catholic. On 6 May 1921 he was a Soldier: Acting Corporal: 90 days Emergency Service. He died in 1953 in Littlebro, Lancashire, England. 3
