Catherine MORGAN (1883-1969)

George EASTAUGH , son of Robert EASTAUGH (1851- ) and Mary JOLLY (1853- ), was born on 29 March 1876 in Preston, Lancashire, England. 1 In 1881 he was resident in 62 Moor Lane, Preston, In 1891 he was a Cotton Weaver. In 1891 he was resident in 108 Eldon St, Preston, He married Elizabeth SLATER in 1898 in Preston Register Office. 2 In 1901 he was resident in Preston, 144 Henderson St. In 1901 he was a Cotton Weaver. In 1920 he was resident in Marlborough, In 1920 he was a Fireman.

 

Supposedly in 1923 George Eastaugh left his wife Catherine and three children Mary, George, and Robert. The Children were briefly orphans in Connecticut and nearly adopted by another family. Some how Catherine was able to get them all back and they lived together in a house on Pearl Street in Brookline, Massachusetts. They lived a

very difficult life during the depression. .

Mary E EASTAUGH (1917?-2007). Mary was born in 1917 (approx.) in Massachusetts, USA. In 1920 she was resident in Marlborough, In 1930 she was resident in Brookline, She died in 2007. 3

George J EASTAUGH (1918-2009). George was born on 30 October 1918 in Massachusetts. In 1920 he was resident in Marlborough, In 1930 he was resident in Brookline, In April 1942 he was a Rigger. On 18 May 1942 he was a Soldier (Private). In 2009 he was resident in Lorraine, Ohio, USA, He died on 6 July 2009.

Robert Richard EASTAUGH (1922-2008). Robert was born on 13 December 1922 in Saugus, Massachusetts, USA. In 1930 he was resident in Brookline, In February 1943 he was a Parachute Packer. On 5 March 1943 he was a Soldier (Private) in Boston, USA. In 1946 he was a Parks department. He married Vera Jean BROWN in 1952. In 1993 he was resident in Newton Highlands, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA, 15 Frances St. His U.S. Social Security Number was 026-18-3327 in 2008. He died on 15 August 2008 in Metrowest Medical Centre, Natick, Massachusetts, USA. He was buried on 19 August 2008 in Thesmore Funeral Home.
