William HOULDGREAVES (1923-2009)

William Quarrie HOULDGREAVES , son of Thomas Henry HOULDGRAVES (1892-1955) and Elizabeth Ann EASTAUGH (1899- ), was born in 1923 in Preston, Lancashire, England. ¹ In 1940 he was a Cleric at the English Electric Aircraft factory. In 1942 he was a Soldier (corporal) in Damascus, Tripoli, Haifa and Port Said. He died on 17 February 2009.
