In 1871 he was resident in Near Bank Mill, Bretherton, In 1871 he was an Agricultural Labourer. In 1881 he was resident in Mill Brow, Bretherton, In 1881 he was a Farm Labourer. In 1891 he was resident in Mill Brow, In 1891 he was a Highway Labourer. In 1911 he was resident in Bretherton, Mill Brow. In 1911 he was a Labourer on Road, Retired.
