He was described as having a Distinctive mark: Sear on forehead in 1916. In 1918 he was resident in Great Harwood, 32 Queens St. He married Alice HARTLEY on 29 October 1918 in Our Lady and St Hubert, Great Harwood (registrar attended). 3 On 14 February 1919 he was a Demomilised. He died in 1959 in Darwen, Lancashire, England. 4
